Fried Jalapeño Bottle Caps

These were so easy and so good! Perfect on a juicy Five Marys burger or as a side for any meal. We used the rest of the drench to make some fried green beans and sweet potato slices while we had the oil out. All delicious dipped in a little sriracha ranch!

These weren't that spicy hot - they lose some heat in the frying process. But de-seed and skip the cayenne if you want less heat!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup flour

  • 4 tablespoons smoked salt

  • 4 tablespoon paprika

  • Chili peppers (to taste)

  • Cayenne (to taste)

  • 2 eggs

  • 4 oz. light beer

  • 4 jalapeños

Instructions

Mix the flour, smoked salt, paprika, chili peppers, cayenne, eggs, and beer together in a bowl.

Dice the jalapeños into thick slices.

Add the jalapeño slices to the bowl and drench them well.

Heat up any neutral oil and fry your bottle caps.

Place them on a paper towel to soak up some of the leftover oil.

Add as a side or place right on top of your burger… enjoy!
