How to Cook Your Five Marys Pork

Pork Chops

Our thick-cut pork chops come from the rib section and they are sooo good - you can truly taste the difference with our pasture-raised pork. The gristle on the bone is our favorite part!

For best results:

For best results, brine in a 1/4 cup of salt and water for at least an hour before cooking. This makes for really tasty, melt-in-your-mouth pork.

A quick ratio for 1 pork chop is is 4 cups of water and 3 tablespoons of salt for 30 minutes up to 4 hours.

Ground Pork

Our Five Marys extra flavorful, pasture-raised ground pork is a great alternative to ground beef in tacos, meatballs, sauces, and asian-inspired dishes. Here are some of my favorite ground pork recipes!

Italian Sausage

Five Marys Italian Sausage (mild and hot & spicy) from our pasture-raised pork comes in 1 lb. chubs and it is so delicious! Cook just like you would with ground pork and breakfast sausage. My favorite thing to make with this is our cast iron pizza :)

Breakfast Sausage

Pork Roasts

Bacon

Five Marys ever-popular smoked bacon is smoked in-house at Five Marys Custom Meat Co. It is cut from the belly and side of the pig. It’s hickory-smoked, fatty and flavorful. It’s so delicious on breakfast sandwiches, BLTs, and these crowd-pleasing poppers.
