Five Marys + BOGS Boots

It’s rainy and wet and muddy here with no end in sight… our least favorite type of weather. We need the snow to pack on the mountains to give us water in the spring and summer months! California doesn’t usually have a lack of water issue, but we have a water storage issue. The ground is saturated so rain just runs off to the ocean - if we get mountain snow pack the rivers will run longer into spring, summer and fall but it all depends on how much snow there is left. Hoping we get some more significant snow soon!

But in these muddy months we are always thankful for our BOGS boots. This past summer, the girls and I had the exciting opportunity to work with BOGS to design this super cute pair! What’s that saying… there’s no bad weather, just bad clothing choices?! We’ve worn BOGS boots for years and years and they hold up SO WELL on the ranch, so this was just a really cool experience putting together a Five Marys pair.

I think the girls and the BOGS team did a fantastic job at designing this western-inspired, but fun and playing M5 boot in adult sizes. Most tweens and teens are adult sizes these days, but let’s be honest - I’ve absolutely been wearing these too. The BOGS team ended up coming to the ranch to reveal the boots to the girls after lots of inspiration boards and design iterations back and forth. We were all so excited!
